abstract | Co-administration of phenyl or naphthyl safener with sulfonyl-urea or imidazolinone herbicide to reduce phytotoxic side effects of herbicide. Herbicide composition comprises: (a) one or more sulfonyl-urea or imidazolinone herbicides; and (b) one or more phenyl or naphthyl derivatives of formula (I) or (II); excluding combinations of imidazolinones with (II).
