titleOfInvention | Homogeneous, polyalkyl(meth)acrylat-modified bitumen |
abstract | The invention describes homogeneous, polymer-modified bituminous compositions containing 0.5 to 50% by weight of polymer constituents, 20 to 100% by weight of the polymer additive being polyalkyl (meth) acrylate, which is present in proportions of 50 to 99.8 % By weight of Cā to Cāā alkyl (meth) acrylates and in proportions of 0.2 to 30% by weight of polymerizable, reactive monomers and in proportions of 0 to 49.8% by weight of further polymerizable compounds is constructed. The reactive, reacting groups of the polyalkyl (meth) acrylate are brought to the covalently crosslinking reaction by thermal and / or catalytic activation. The crosslinking between the polyalkyl (meth) acrylate molecules containing reactive groups is also achieved by adding a reactive, organic, at least bifunctional, crosslinker component which reacts with the reactive groups of the polyalkyl (meth) acrylate. Bitumens containing cross-linked polyalkyl (meth) acrylates are homogeneous, temperature-stable, have high elastic resilience and good low-temperature flexibility. |
