titleOfInvention | A lithographic printing plate |
abstract | According to the present invention a method is provided for producing a lithographic printing plate comprising the steps of:n image-wise exposing an imaging element comprising a silver halide emulsion layer, developing said imaging element in the presence of compound that releases a hydrophobizing agent upon reaction with either the reduced or oxidized form of a developing agent, allowing said hydrophobizing agent to react with an oleophobic metal layer comprised in said imaging element or comprised in a separate receiving element to render said metal layer image-wise oleophilic. n The present invention further provides an imaging element and receiving element for use in the above described method. |
