titleOfInvention PROCESS AND PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A THERMOTRATED GROWTH SUBSTRATE OR FERTILIZER.
abstract In a substrate or in a natural fertilizer one can find materials such as sphagnum, coconut fiber dust or poultry fertilizer seeds as well as other impurities, which can be neutralized by heat treatment. The invention is presented as being a particularly effective treatment in the sense that the material after passing through an oven (8) is led further to a thermally insulated tunnel (38), so that the period of the heat treatment can be extended without additional energy consumption, and the material flow is conducted via a closed transport system with respect to the environment, and which comprises a cooling zone (42), in which the material is cooled by blown filtered air, a mixing station (12) in which the desired fertilizers and biological material are added to the material flow, as well as a zone or station (16 ) spill, in which the material is dosed in closed transport containers, for example closed bags. It is thus ensured that a material, having been entirely pasteurized in the oven in an economical manner, is not contaminated before the spillage, and that the additives to the production in progress can be added after a controlled cooling of the material, so that they keep all their utility value. The treatment considerably improves the quality and uniformity of the sphagnum substrate.
