abstract |
An aminoacetal derivative as an intermediate compound for synthesis of acrylamidoalkylaldehyde dialkylacetal is disclosed along with a process for preparing the latter compound, which comprises a Diels Alder reaction between an acrylic acid derivative and cyclopentadiene, followed by reaction of the resultant norbornene carboxylic acid derivative with an aminoalkylacetal to give a carboxylic acid amide derivative, which in turn is heat-decomposed to yield an acrylamidoalkylaldehyde dialkylacetal. |
