The present invention relates to a coating comprising: A) one or more polymers containing carboxyl groups having an average molecular weight of 500 to 8000 and an acid number of 15 to 200 mg KOH/g, as the main binder components, and B) one or more compounds containing epoxide groups, as crosslinking agents, characterized in that compound B containing epoxide groups is a copolymerizate containing epoxide groups, having an average molecular weight Mn of 300 to 5000, of preferably from 500 to 3500 and a heterogeneity (Mw/Mn) measured by permeation chromatography of a gel, 3, preferably 2, and obtained by continuous bulk polymerization at temperatures between 130 and 350°C and under a pressure greater than 1 bar. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacture of this coating, as well as the application of said coating for paintwork in the repair of automobile bodywork. |
