titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for continuous granulation of high water absorbing resin powder
abstract This invention relates to a continuous granulation method, and apparatus for the method, which comprises charging high water absorbing resin powder from a dispersing member disposed at the upper part of a cylinder whose lower end is open into the cylinder by a gas stream, spraying downward very small droplets of an aqueous solution from a nozzle disposed inside the dispersing member, bringing the high water absorbing resin powder dispersed by the gas stream flowing down in the cylinder and the droplets flowing down while diffusing in the radial direction inside the cylinder into mutual contact under the concurrent state, and withdrawing the caked granular product under the state where a plurality of high water absorbing resin powder are caked through the droplets, from the lower part of the cylinder.
