abstract The method and apparatus described, which are used to control and modulate the fluid mixture, use an acoustic detection technique which involves pulsing a fluid sample and a reference fluid in elongated chambers (23) using waves sound generated at one end of the chambers and detecting the resonant frequencies in the chambers or the time used by the sound waves to pass through the chambers by means of transducers (25, 27) arranged near the other ends of the chambers, then to compare by radiometry these measurements taken on the basis of the calculated time.
