abstract | The proposed entertainment facility uses self-propelled bumper cars (20) to collide with each other. Bumper cars are equipped with flexible bumpers (54, 58) having attack sections (54) and target sections (58). A result scoring arrangement is used to count (122) and display the result obtained by each car, the points of each car increasing upon contact with the attack bumper and decreasing upon contact with the target bumper. The points obtained are displayed on the cars (48, 126) as well as on a fixed display member (136) placed on the track. Effects (138) stimulating the enjoyment of the game, such as flashing lights, audible alarms and the like, are arranged both on the cars and on the track and can be operated under the control of the score scoring system. |
