abstract A transparent, coextruded polyolefin multilayer film which can be sealed on both sides is described with a base layer consisting essentially of propylene polymers and cover layers consisting essentially of sealable olefin polymers. The propylene polymer of the base layer is degraded peroxidically, its degradation factor A being in the range from 3 to 10. The sealable olefin polymer of the outer layers is an ethylene-propylene copolymer with an ethylene content in the range from 2 to 8% by weight, which is also degraded peroxidically. Its degradation factor A is in the range from 3 to 15.
