abstract |
Polyclonal catalytic antibodies are provided. Polyclonal antibodies that are capable of catalyzing the hydrolsis of a carbonate are also provided. Preferred polyclonal catalytic antibodies are raised against a phosphate of general formula (I), wherein each of R and R' represents a radical which together confer immunogenicity on the phosphate of general formula (I). In addition, phosphates and precursor phosphates against which antiphosphate antibodies capable of catalyzing the hydrolysis of a carbonate can be raised are provided. |
