The invention relates to fast amplification circuits, designed to provide an output current of a few amperes, proportional to an input voltage and whose frequency spectrum can exceed 1 MHz.n n n A linear amplifier (AL) follows rapid variations in the input voltage (Ve) and supplies a load (L) with the entire output current (I) as long as this current is low; as soon as the output current (Ia) of the linear amplifier reaches a given value, a switching amplifier (A1, A2, K1, K2, S1, S2) supplies a current (Ib) which decreases the current (Ia) of the linear amplifier.n n n Application, in particular, for the control of deflection coils and as a high efficiency amplification circuit for audio frequencies. |
