titleOfInvention Catheter with high tactile guide wire
abstract A catheter comprising an elongated and highly flexible lumen (12) and a guidewire (14) disposed within the lumen, the guidewire being made from a nickel memory alloy titanium, the guide wire having an elasticity of more than 3% over the whole range of catheter usage temperatures and allowing a deformation with high elasticity and at low stress as well as a low resistance to rolling and sliding friction of the guidewire when it moves and flexes inside the light thereby producing a high degree of tactile control.
