titleOfInvention | Article with snap-fit connection |
abstract | The invention relates to an article such as preferably a thermally insulated unit for serving food, constituted for example by a tray (1) or a tray cover (101) comprising a top (10) and a bottom (20) which fit together physically by means of a pressure connection (25). A rigid insulating foam of substantially stable dimensions (17), disposed between the top (10) and the bottom (20) keeps these assembled, seals the assembly by pressure (25) and provides overall rigidity to the article. Reinforcement ribs (19) can be used to reduce flexibility at the joining joint and protect the form (11) against impact at the joining joint. |
