Hollow fiber membrane fluid separation device adapted for boreside feed which contains multiple concentric stages |
abstract |
A concentric multistage hollow fiber membrane fluid separation device adapted for boreside feed, for separating a fluid from a fluid mixture comprising a bundle (10) of hollow fiber membranes for separating a fluid from a fluid mixture, wherein the bundle is partitioned into concentric annular regions comprising a feed stage (27) and at least one non-permeate stage (29), wherein each stage possesses a feed end and a non-permeate end, wherein the feed end (28) of each non-permeate stage (29) is located at the opposite end of the bundle from the feed end (26) of the immediately preceding stage (27) and the non-permeate end (30) of each non-permeate stage (29) is located at the opposite end of the bundle from the non-permeate end (28) of the immediately preceding stage (27). |
