titleOfInvention | Lytic peptides, use for growth, infection and cancer |
abstract | New synthetic and proliferative lytic peptides have been designed and produced, which encompass the structural features associated with lytic and proliferative activity. These compounds, as well as the peptide signaling human beta fibrin, share the structural and functional properties of known lytic peptides. These peptides are effective agents in the treatment of microbial infections, and in particular gram negative and gram positive bacteria, a fungus, a virus, yeast as well as protozoa, in the lysis of cancer cells, as well as in the proliferation of fibroblast and lymphocytes. Additional functions include synergy and use as general adjuvants, as well as stimulating wound healing. |
