Catalytic combustion of soot from diesel engines |
abstract |
In order to obtain a catalytic combustion of soot in exhaust gases from diesel engines the exhaust gases are conveyed over a catalyst material comprising vanadium and copper oxides in a molar ratio V:Cu of 85:15 to 95:5, preferably 90:10. In order to increase the low-temperature activity the catalyst preferably also contains elementary platinum, palladium or rhodium. |
