abstract The present invention relates to an aqueous dispersion based on silicones, which contains a) a polysiloxane with epoxy-functional groups and b) a polysiloxane with both amino- and amido-functional groups or a reaction product of a) with b)n n n In addition, the use of these aqueous dispersions for the treatment, in particular soft handle treatment of fiber materials is described.n n n The advantages of the dispersions according to the invention can be seen above all in the fact that excellent soft-grip effects and at the same time good resilience are obtained without the use of catalysts, it being particularly emphasized that these effects are extremely washable and cleanable and also have a negative influence on the degree of whiteness (yellowing ) can hardly be observed.
