abstract A method of manufacturing multiple plate panels incorporating granular silica aerogels is disclosed. The method includes the steps of heating the panel incorporating granular aerogels to a temperature higher than ambient temperature, vacuuming gas contained within the panel, keeping the panel under partial vacuum and at high temperature for an appropriate time period, closing the opening provided at the upper part of the edging in order to keep the panel under the previously provided partial vacuum, and cooling the panel down to the ambient temperature.
