titleOfInvention Aqueous N-methylmorpholine N-oxide solution of cellulose
abstract In the case of a solution of cellulose in water and N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (NMMO), the discoloration of the cellulose which occurs during production and heating should be reduced and the degradation of NMMO reduced. This is achieved according to the invention in that the solution 0.01 to 1%, preferably 0.1%, H 2 0 2 and 0.01 to 2%, preferably 0.1%, of a stabilizer for H 2 0 2 , preferably oxalic acid or their salts.
