abstract |
Dispersion composed essentially of magnetic particles, a phthalic acid dialkyl ester which serves as a dispersing medium and, optionally, a dispersing agent. This dispersion is particularly useful as a precursor of a composition to be coated on a cellulose acid ester carrier film to form a transparent magnetic recording layer for use in photographic films. Said dispersion provides magnetic recording layers exhibiting less particle agglomerations and reduced light dispersion. Photographs taken from films containing such magnetic layers do not in practice show any increase in graininess attributable to the magnetic recording layer. |
