A cellulose pulp is dehydrated and / or dried until a water content of up to 20% by weight is obtained. Due to its dry matter content, up to 55% by weight of cellulosic fibers, and not less than 45% by weight of inorganic filling particles, the product obtained finds use as a filler in horticultural products such as cat litter, in particular, and if it is sufficiently dry and mixed with a binder, it forms a molding composition, from which one can obtain shaped products, having useful properties and which may be biodegradable. |
