abstract | A multilayer laminated material comprisingn a) at least one layer comprising a polyamide (A), wherein the proportion of the number of carbon atoms to that of nitrogen atoms (C/N) in the polymer is in the range of 4 to 7; b) at least one layer comprising a polyamide (B), wherein the proportion of the number of carbon atoms to that of nitrogen atoms (C/N) in the polymer is more than 7; c) an intermediate layer provided between layers (a) and (b) comprising a compatibilizing polymer composition obtainable by masticating a mixture of said polyamides (A) and (B) at a temperature above the melting point of said mixture in the presence of a transamidation catalyst stable at this temperature, n a method for its manufacture, a compatibilizing polyamide composition used for said intermediate layer and a method for its manufacture are described. |
