titleOfInvention | Method of preparing vaccines |
abstract | Treatment of prokaryotic microorganisms with organic solvents such as chloroform, diethyl ether, methanol ethanol or propanol, facilitates the release of antigenic materials with an aqueous solution obtained from the treated microorganisms immersed in an aqueous medium. Vaccines are prepared by treating the microorganisms in this way and preserving them and/or the aqueous medium which contains these microorganisms or the antigenic substances which they have released. The organic solvent is discarded. Suitable microorganisms are staphylococcus epidermidis, staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus viridans, coli bacteria, yersinia entercolytica, pseudomonas maltophilia and bacillus cereus. |
