In a work vehicle, in particular a caterpillar vehicle (10) with a direct drive, which has an actuating device for throttling the fuel supply and the output power of the internal combustion engine (18) and at least one clutch arranged in the drive train, the throttling of the internal combustion engine (18) should be reliably prevented from stalling by disconnecting the drive wheels or chains from the internal combustion engine in good time before the vehicle stops. For this purpose, the actuating device mentioned is functionally connected to means for disengaging the clutch. In particular, it contains an electrical switch (70) which, when the deceleration pedal (40) is depressed, opens a solenoid valve (136) which connects a pressure accumulator (118) of the hydraulics of the powershift transmission to a reservoir. As a result, the hydraulic pressure to the forward or reverse clutch is throttled so that they can slip. |
