titleOfInvention | Indicator, process for obtaining it and its use |
abstract | Indicator to follow the course of a process thanks to the reaction of a first chemical compound with a second chemical compound, this reaction causing a visible color change. The invention is characterized in that the first chemical compound is a compound with an abundance of electrons and that the second chemical compound is a compound with a lack of electrons, the start of the process being triggered by simultaneous or successive contacting of the two compounds. The invention also relates to developments of this basic concept, as well as to methods of making this indicator, where an electron-expanding compound is dissolved in a suitable solvent, optionally in a solution of. a substrate serving as a support, at least one layer of the solution thus obtained is applied to a preparation and then allowed to dry; a compound lacking electrons is dissolved in a suitable solvent, optionally in a solution of a substrate serving as a support, and at least one layer of this solution is applied to the dried layer of the compound having an expansion of electrons applied to the preparation, which triggers the process. Finally, the invention relates to developments of this method and to the uses of such an indicator in products with a determined shelf life or shelf life. |
