A device for detecting a coating on the outside of a pane (17) has cutouts (19) on the underside of the housing (11), into which film pieces (20) made of optically highly transparent, elastic material are inserted. Optical prisms (21) are arranged on these pieces of film (20), with the aid of which the radiation from the transmitter (12) is coupled into the pane (17) or is coupled out again to the receiver (13). A seal (23) is arranged in a groove (22) around the cutouts (19) and around the measuring section (14) formed between the optical film pieces (20). To attach the sensor (10) to the disk (17), metal pieces (29) are glued to the disk (17), to which the housing (11) is screwed with the aid of screws (30). The housing (11) can also be pressed with the foot (35) of a mirror (36). The sensor (10) can be assembled in a fully assembled manner so that it builds very inexpensively, and it is fastened to the inside of the disc (17) with high strength. |
