titleOfInvention Neuromuscular electrical stimulation device
abstract The device comprises a portable and autonomous stimulation element (50), controlled by a removable and interchangeable information medium (53), previously programmed according to the treatment of each patient considered. The stimulation element is provided at its outlet with four pairs of electrodes (52, 52 ′) arranged to be applied to the part to be treated of the patient's body and to transmit trains of electrical stimulation pulses intended to cause muscle contractions and exercise or training. It comprises electronic circuitry (hardware) of the amorphous type, under the control of control software with interactive parameters and linked by coupling and interaction functions, said software being stored on the removable information medium (3). . The value of each parameter can change progressively over the duration of the program between previously programmed reference values and any parameter can control another. The output channels are programmable independently of each other and are arranged so as to allow an interdependence of their activity, any parameter of an output channel being able to control another output channel.
