titleOfInvention Process for the preparation of semi-ordered polyamide-imides
More particularly, it consists in carrying out the polycondensation in two distinct phases: 1) reaction between part of an aromatic diisocyanate and all of the trimellic anhydride in the presence of dimethylalkylene urea of pH ≦ 7 until dissolution of the intermediate compound, 2) successively adding one or more aromatic diacids and the remainder of the aromatic diisocyanate in dimethylalkylene urea of pH ≦ 7 until complete dissolution of the polyamide-imide obtained. n n n The semi-ordered polymers thus obtained have a lower TG than the statistical polymers, which facilitates their shaping.
