There is a process for the preparation of (meth) acrylate esters of formula I. with R₁ = H or CH₃ and with A and B unbranched or branched alkylene groups having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, by reacting (meth) acrylic esters of the formula II with R₂ = alkyl radical of in particular 1 to 4 carbon atoms and alcohols of the formula III described in the presence of dialkyltin oxide as a catalyst. After the reaction, the catalyst can be separated from the reaction mixture by adding water, isolated and used again. |
