abstract We have developed a luminescent or luminometric analysis using a two-step reaction. In the first step, the reaction takes place between a selected oxidant, an enzyme allowing catalyzing oxidation reactions of this oxidant, and a substrate for this enzyme, resulting in an intermediate product constituting an oxidizing agent powerful enough for The fluorescent oxidation of a chemiluminescent DPD (2,3-dihydro-1,4 phthalazinedione) occurs. In the second step, said intermediate compound is reacted with DPD, which makes it possible to obtain a brief and relatively intense light emission. A kit has also been developed to facilitate the implementation of this analysis method.
