ADHESION RECEPTOR FOR LAMININE AND THEIR USE. |
abstract |
The invention relates to an adhesion receptor for laminin. The receptor is isolated from cellular or tissue extracts, and it is fractionated in an affinity column composed of laminin fragments promoting cell attachment, coupled to Sepharose in the presence of divalent cations. This receptor can be used to prepare specific antibodies to analyze the amount of laminin receptor expressed by cells. This receptor has other applications in cell and tumor biology. |
