titleOfInvention | Heat-sensitive recording paper |
abstract | In heat-sensitive recording paper having a heat-sensitive coloring layer containing a colorless or light color leuco compound and a developer causing coloration of the leuco compound upon heating on a support, this invention relates to heat-sensitive recording paper wherein a mean content of the pigment at a portion spaced apart by 10 µm from the surface of the support is at least 33 wt.% and a mean pigment content in the support as a whole is from 10 to 25 wt.%. The present invention can obtain heat-sensitive recording paper for effecting recording by a thermal head or a thermal pen, particularly heat-sensitive recording paper which is free from sticking between a thermal head and a heat-sensitive coloring layer and piling to a thermal head, has high reproducibility of dots even in a high speed recording, has high runability and moreover, can provide clear and high density recording. |
