The improvement is such that said photographic layer unit comprises a light sensitive layer having silver halide grains, of which a chloride content is not less than 30 mol%, and said photographic layer unit comprises not more than 2.8 g/m² of gelatin, and a portion not less than 50 wt% of said gelatin has a jelly strength of not less than 240.
