The carbalkoxymethyl ethers of lactam-1 acetic acid have the general formula (I) where if R is H, n = 1 or 3; if R is phenyl, n = 1; and R1 = alkyl. A process for obtaining the compositions consists in reacting lactams of general formula (II) where if R is H, n = 1 or 3; if R is phenyl, n = 1, with alkalis in a proton-free solvent medium at a temperature of 70-130 ° C, then add to the mixture obtained an alkyl ether of monohaloacetic acid and extract the desired product. The claimed compositions serve as intermediates in the synthesis of known biologically active substances. |
