abstract | The present invention relates to a particulate composition marked with a metal radionuclide, which can be used in the form of a dry aerosol for scintigraphy of the lungs, in particular for the examination of mucociliary transport, or for radiotherapy. Such a composition comprises radioactive labeled particles fixed on a silica gel base, as well as another silicon substance or a non-swelling polymer, to the surface of which are covalently linked organic ligands which include thiol, amino, alkylamino groups , oxime, dithiocarbamate, xanthate, thiosemicarbazone or dithiosemicarbazone or combinations of these groups. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of such a composition and to a kit for carrying out said process. |
