A composition comprising: 85 to 20 wt % of a random propylene/1-butene copolymer having a melt index (according to ASTM D 1238-65T, at 230 °C) of 0.1 to 100 g/10 min, a propylene content of 60 to 85 mole %, and a heat of crystal fusion of 20 to 80 J/g as determined by thermal analysis with a differential scanning calorimeter, 15 to 80 wt % of an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a melt index (according to ASTM D 1238-65T, at 190 °C) of 0.1 to 100 g/10 min, an ethylene content of 75 to 95 mole %, a crystallinity of 0 to 30 %, and the number of carbon atoms of the α-olefin of 3 to 10, and 0 to 10 wt % of a tackifier. The protective film of the invention is a monolayer or multilayer film, wherein at least one of the outermost layers comprises the above composition. The composition gives a releasable protective film excellent in flexibility, scratch resistance and heat resistance, having appropriate initial adhesion to and releasability from an adherend, excellent in cold workability when adhered to an object, undergoing only a reduced change in the properties even after prolonged storage, and leaving no bleeding on an adherend when released therefrom. |
