abstract |
A process is described for working up residues which arise in the distillation of chlorosilanes when they are produced by reacting raw silicon with chlorine or hydrogen chloride. The residues are treated in an aqueous phase with an excess of at least 15% of calcium bases (CaO or Ca (OH) ₂) or calcium carbonate. The liquid components are returned to the process so that no waste water is produced. |
