abstract | The invention relates to the use of aromatic-metal complexes, aromatic-metal-carbonyl complexes or metal-carbene-carbonyl complexes stable in hydrolysis and in air with reactive substituents with respect to a group. amino belonging to the final or side chain of a protein to derive peptides or proteins. The reaction of the peptides or proteins with the reagents mentioned makes it possible to carry out a high pressure liquid chromatographic analysis on the peptides or proteins with an electrochemical detector.
