abstract | The invention relates to a process for the anionic polymerization of an N-substituted maleimide in a solvent and in the presence of at least one organometallic initiator of alkali metal, where the sec.-butyllithium, the sodium alcoholates are used as initiator , diphenylmethyl potassium, or naphthalene lithium or sodium; a process for the preparation of a polymer based on N-substituted maleimide with narrow molecular weight distribution by anionic polymerization of maleimide in a solvent and in the presence of an initiator system formed of at least one organometallic initiator of alkali metal and of minus a mineral salt and / or an organic salt of an alkali or alkaline earth metal; an N-substituted maleimide-based polymer block of average molecular weight 12000-100000; an N-substituted maleimide-based polymer block of polydispersity 1.1-1.5; and a multiblock copolymer in which at least one polymer block based on N-substituted maleimide is associated with at least one polymer block based on (meth) acrylic monomer. |
