abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a polysiloxane resin composition for an abrasion-resistant coating with a high refractive index, characterized in that it comprises the hydrolysis of a first constituent of organo-siloxane type into a hydrolysate of alkoxysilane having condensable silanol groups, and the reaction of the hydrolyzate obtained with a second constituent formed of an organic titanium compound comprising at least one titanium ester function of carboxylic acid, with the addition of a clean quantity of water to cause the hydrolysis of the hydrolysable groups remaining in the mixture obtained and the formation of a siloxane prepolymer integrating the titanium. |
