abstract |
Methods for quickly and accurately detecting a given compound, such as a drug or toxic drug, in an organic fluid. A sample of fluid containing different natural constituents is taken from the patient's body, as well as the exogenous chemical compound that is sought. The sample is then subjected to analysis by ion migration spectrometry to detect the presence of the exogenous chemical compound or of a corresponding metabolite. It is also possible to separate the desired compound and the natural constituents mentioned from said fluid sample before analysis. |
