titleOfInvention | Oxidative hair dyes |
abstract | A hair dye contains as a base material oxidizing dyes associated with the usual development components in a cosmetic substrate, and as coupling components dihydroxybenzamides having the formula (I) in which R1 and R2 independently represent one other hydrogen or alkyl groups having between 1 and 4 carbon atoms, pyridyl groups or groups having the formula (II) in which n = 0-4 and R3-R6 represent hydrogen or hydroxyl groups, groups alkyl or alkoxy having between 1 and 4 carbon atoms, hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl groups, each having between 2 and 4 carbon atoms, groups NR7R8 where R7 and R8 represent hydrogen, or alkyl groups having between 1 and 4 carbon atoms , hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl groups, each having between 2 and 4 carbon atoms, or carboxyl groups. At least two of the residues R3-R6 are hydrogen atoms and at most one residue is a carboxyl group. The hair dyes thus obtained are characterized by high resistance to light and cold perm and by their improved leveling, that is, their very uniform distribution over the hair from root to tip. hair. |
