titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of a concentrate from factor viii-factor von willebrand of blood coagulation from the whole plasma |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a concentrate of factor VIII-von Willebrand factor complex having high specific activity from whole plasma (not cryoprecipitate). The process comprises a prepurification by a double treatment with barium chloride and aluminium hydroxide. The process then comprises a purification by chromatography on an anion exchange resin of the DEAE-Fractogel type. The process comprises a step of viral inactivation by a solvent/detergent treatment. The process also enables fibrinogen, albumin, immunoglobulins, antithrombin III, fibronectin and prothrombin complex to be recovered from the same plasma. The various concentrates obtained by the process of the invention are intended, in particular, for therapeutic use. |
