titleOfInvention Detection method
abstract Substances with specific binding partners, such as antibodies and antigens or nucleic acids and their supplements, are subject to electrometric analysis by coating an electrode with a specific binding substance, treatment of electrode coated with a test sample and exposure of the treated electrode to different ionic compositions. These different ionic compositions are obtained by exchange of saline solutions or by electrochemical production of ions by means of a couple of additional metals. The electrode signal is indicative of the type and amount of the substance to be analyzed.
