titleOfInvention Method of cooling an object by means of a cryogenic adsorption refrigerator
abstract The cryogenic adsorption refrigerator has two strands (a, b), each strand of which comprises a container (2a, 2b) with an adsorber, a heat exchange unit (3) and a heat transfer container (4a, 4b). The heat transfer containers (4a, 4b) are coupled to one another by means of a connecting line (7) on which a Joule-Thompson throttle (8) is provided.n n n The method for cooling an object (6) with the aid of the cryogenic adsorption refrigerator is shown in the fact that only one heat transfer container (4a or 4b) is previously connected to the object (6), in which a cryogenic medium at the temperature and pressure of the cryostat is contained, and that after the desorption in the high-pressure line has ended, an isentropic expansion of the cryogenic medium in the high-pressure line is initiated and the second heat transfer container (4b or 4a) is additionally connected to the object (6).
