titleOfInvention Reinforced thermoplastic honeycomb structure
abstract The invention relates to a method for manufacturing thermoplastic structures made of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin. Reinforcement with fibers may consist of a non-woven strip (7) or a woven strip (8). The thermoplastic resin can be introduced in the form of mixed staple fibers into the woven strip (7b, 11) or by casting coating (31, 33) of the strip (23b) or by rolling a preformed film of thermoplastic resin ( 35, 35 ') on the strip (23c). The latter technique allows uniform distribution of a material absorbing microwave radiation, this material being applied to the preformed thermoplastic film or film (35, 35 ′), or mixed in this preformed thermoplastic film, throughout the nest structure. bees.
