titleOfInvention KNEE PROSTHESIS.
abstract The described knee joint prosthesis, which is intended to be permanently anchored in the bone tissue of a knee joint of the human body, consists of a femur part, comprising a hinge element (8) with convex joint (20), as well as an elongated intermediate element (7) having a first side intended to bear against a surface of the bone tissue and an opposite second side intended to bear against an internal surface of the hinge element, which is secured to the intermediate element by means of a positive blocking. An anchoring element is intended to be introduced into a hollow channel made in the bone tissue and to be connected thereto to allow the anchoring of the intermediate element and consequently also of the hinge element in the femur. The positive blocking serving to fix the hinge element (8) of the femur on the intermediate element (7) of the femur part (3) is obtained by designing the intermediate element as a fixing rail provided with flanges (13) disposed on the second side of the intermediate member and providing the posterior surface of the hinge member of the femur with an elongated fixation member (26) extending along this surface. This element is intended to be introduced into the fixing rail and to be locked therein in a predetermined locking position by means of locking elements (29).
