This invention relates to an N,N-dialkylaminoalkyl(meth)acrylamide composition of general formula (II), wherein R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R4 and R5 represent each an alkyl group having one to four carbon atoms, and n is an integer of 2 to 4, having an improved preservability and containing 10 to 10,000 ppm of an N,N-dialkylhydroxylamine of general formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 represent each an alkyl group having one to four carbon atoms. This composition, even when preserved under common conditions wherein it is in contact with oxygen, is largely reduced in the discoloration and the formation of by-products including cross-linkable divinylic impurities which adversely affect the properties of the polymer prepared therefrom, and can be used in the polymerization with an ordinary radical polymerization initiator without any adverse effect. |
