abstract A composition allows the regulated diffusion of an active substance in an aqueous phase by erosion, at a substantially constant speed, of a surface or surfaces of the composition, the latter containing a matrix of at least one substantially water-soluble crystalline polymer, one or more surfactants dispersed in the crystalline polymer phase, at least one active substance dispersed in a substantially homogeneous manner in the crystalline polymer phase and / or located in geometrically well-defined zones inside the crystalline polymer phase and / or dispersed in the surfactant and, optionally, a filler. The surfactant and / or the active substance substantially eliminate the diffusion of water in the interface between the polymer crystals. In a variant of the invention, the composition comprises a rubber matrix vulcanizing at room temperature, in which particles of a superabsorbent polymer are distributed in a substantially homogeneous manner, and at least one active substance dispersed in a substantially homogeneous manner in the matrix and / or located in geometrically well-defined zones inside said matrix.
